My story

BRINGING YOU GOOD FOOD

One of my dreams is for my family to enjoy cooking and meals at home without worrying about quality. In the old days everyone had this. Now days it seems like a dream but I believe dreams can come true. Many people and companies are passionate about providing quality and I am happy to join them.

Zakuro is my passion and we are pomegranate specialists who have three target clients. One is people who are busy with no time to cook and the other is people who love cooking. Third is people looking for not artificial food ingredients. If you are someone who does not pay attention to ingredients then Zakuro products are not for you. Zakuro customers know that they get what they pay for and that is quality items to support their daily life.

I know so many people struggling to have decent meals in their daily life, especially if you are vegetarian or vegan. I am not a vegetarian or vegan, I eat when my two rules are satisfied. I have to know where the ingredients came from and how was it made or cooked. Not knowing these answers has made me give up on many foods. This is the world we live in. I believe we have gone the wrong way and as eating is a daily occurrence we have to pay close attention to the source of our foods.

Zakuro foods have two basic rules:

1) locally grown even if this means the product is more expensive

2) no added chemicals made in laboratories.

We use natural coloring and flavoring in our food. Zakuro is opposed to MSG as it has destroyed our food culture. Imagine all food tasting the same. Why bother cooking? We use turmeric for yellow color and hibiscus for red. If you know any natural colors please let us know.

Cooking is very special and important for health and it reflects our culture. Our vision is to expand Zakuro shops worldwide to help people’s daily lives. We are a daily consumption products producer. Our pomegranate inspired foods, sauces will support your daily life, especially for vegetarian and vegans.
